Serafeim Zormpas is an Athens-based photographer, engineer, and certified mountain leader working across sports, adventure, travel, and editorial photography. His work is rooted in real moments, honest energy, and a strong sense of place—whether he is photographing an athlete under pressure, a team behind the scenes, or an expedition unfolding in remote terrain.

Years spent between research projects, fieldwork, and expeditions, from the Atacama Desert to the Caucasus and the Alps, shaped the way he approaches visual storytelling.

Photography became a way to translate experience into images: combining technical precision with instinct, movement, atmosphere and human connection.

His sports work has developed a particular focus on professional tennis. He has covered international events including the Davis Cup in Athens, the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open in Brussels, and the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship ATP 250 & Athens Open WTA 250. Alongside match coverage, he works directly with players, coaches and management teams to produce practice, behind-the-scenes, slow-motion and social-media content with fast professional delivery.

Beyond tennis, Serafeim photographs outdoor expeditions, brands, businesses, events, and editorial stories. His wider professional background includes collaborations and projects involving organizations such as the BBC, the European Space Agency, consultancies, NGOs, outdoor brands, and small businesses. His imagery is also represented internationally through Adobe Stock and Getty Images, with recurring themes of exploration, motion, resilience, and place.

Based in Athens and available across Greece and Europe, he works with athletes, explorers, brands and organizations that see photography not simply as decoration, but as a record of effort, identity, and intent.
