Serafeim Zormpas is an Athens-based photographer and engineer with a passion for exploration and storytelling. His work moves between mountains, cities, and sporting arenas — always focused on real moments and honest energy. Whether documenting athletes, landscapes, or the quiet details in between, he aims to capture stories with clarity and intent.

After years spent between research projects and expeditions — from the Atacama Desert to the Caucasus — photography became his way of translating experience into story. His work now spans sports, adventure, and editorial assignments, blending technical precision with an instinct for human connection.

In recent years, he has expanded his focus on professional tennis, covering international events including the Davis Cup in Athens, the BNP Paribas Fortis European Open in Brussels, and the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship ATP 250 in Athens. His photography seeks to capture not only athletic performance, but also the emotion, atmosphere, and human stories that unfold around elite competition.

He has collaborated with major brands, consultancies, and organizations — including the BBC, the European Space Agency (ESA), NGOs, small businesses, events, and outdoor brands — creating imagery that bridges purpose and narrative. His photography is also featured across international collections as a contributor to Adobe StockandGetty Imagesreflecting themes of authenticity, exploration, and motion.

Based in Athens and working across Europe, he partners with athletes, explorers, and organizations who see photography not as decoration, but as documentation of intent, character, and pursuit.
